Collects the roll from NS, runs the length of the field like Ryan Giggs, slots the ball past the desperate keeper.

More importantly now that he is the face of Harry’s Shaves Mr Kane seems to have gone full ‘Suits you , Sir’ with his sculpted barnet.

Apologies for upsetting NS by calling his hero a cheat.
It’s a very trying time for Spurs fans so they are a bit fragile

That's pretty much what I said in my first post, Sold0 son. Why did you get so ANGRY?

Re: Sunday football
If you fall over of your own accord, it's cheating. The end.

Pretty much every premier league footballer does it, some worse than others.

If the premier league were serious about eradicating it then all they have to do is bring back retrospective punishments, but if they did that then a lot of England poster boys would start getting banned.

Danny Rose dives so much, even sp*rs fans are beginning to get pissed off with him.

Having a go at West Ham, defending others.

STANDARD.

Re: Sunday football
Oh and Sven.... I think what you are saying is that Herandez is not quite as good at bending the rules as Kane or Vardy?? The thing is I don't have a problem if a defender or keeper is stupid enough to dangle a leg out... you are asking for trouble... Herandez's there was about half a foot of clear daylight... he obviously ain't as clever as the other two eh?? Anyway... it was pretty fucking disgusting whatever way you look at it

Niasse also got done for buying a penalty, while at Everton.

`The citing system works well in rugby to catch things the ref might not have seen properly and they don’t look any weaker for it at all`.

That's for foul play... same as thing as with football as far as I know... in both games you can get a ban AFTER the match has finished...

Re: Sunday football
Agree Sven. It’s absolutely stupid. Ref makes the wrong call but because he noticed it and put it in his match report (either with the wrong or no punishment) then it shouldn’t make it exempt from further review or action. One of the weirdest ‘quirks’ of the game. I assume in there to avoid questions being asked about how good the refs are.

But fuck that- we can all see this stuff from 8 angles on replay now. We should use it to absolve players wrongly given both colour cards, and those who wrongly get away with things they shouldn’t.

What the fuck has happened with this retrospective punishment for diving anyway? It was announced, Lanzini was the only player done for it, then life went on in the same way with players flinging themselves about without punishment.

The citing system works well in rugby to catch things the ref might not have seen properly and they don’t look any weaker for it at all. I’m fact I love the way the video ref works with the on field ref anyway and you hear them talking about it. I guess the problem is most sports on the whole are played honestly with mostly respect for the rules and officials, unlike football.

Re: Sunday football
If someone is running at pace sometimes a nudge or a tiny clip can send you flying.
But you will see players getting a bit of bodily contact or a hand in their back and just fall over.
As said there need to be guidelines and when someone is seen to throw themselves over with no contact perhaps a few red cards for cheating need to be thrown about.

While we are at it get rid of this ‘the ref gave a yellow so no further penalty’ nonsense.
Sissoko got a yellow at Southampton for raking his studs down a players achilles.
VAR should be sending him off

The referee ruined what was a very good game being watched by millions worldwide, the second goal killed it, hope he's pleased with himself.

Next season is going to be utter turmoil.

Re: Sunday football
Exactly, why is it OK sometimes if a player feels contact and goes down, like City against us.

But other times not enough to be a penalty when clearly fouled.

Sven Roeder 8:01 Mon Mar 11
Re: Sunday football
I am saying he dives after initiating a tiny amount of contact.
Just saying that we need guidelines as to what constitutes a penalty.
When Harry Kane slows down and kicks the keepers arms as he tries to avoid him it is sold as ‘he felt contact’ when it was initiated by the attacker.
Pea dived. Vardy did it continuously in Leicester’s title winning season.
What is a penalty needs to be defined especially with VAR coming in.
Something like this ‘natural silhouette’ thing with handball
